Mother Is Reunited With the Baby She Placed for Adoption 77 Years Ago!

It was 1928 when 16-year-old Minka Disbrow’s life was changed forever. Before she even knew how babies were made, Minka was attacked and raped by a stranger.

She hid what had happened to her from her family and friends — that is, until she realized that her body was changing. It was then that Minka's mother had to explain to her that she was pregnant and to tell Minka for the first time where babies come from. Her mother made the decision to hide her daughter's situation from everyone--even Minka's own sister. When Minka had her baby, she placed her new born daughter for adoption.

For Minka, keeping the baby and her rape a secret became a habit — one she continued throughout her life, concealing it even from those closest to her. What an amazing story and what a wonderful reunion this mother had seventy-seven years after she placed her daughter for adoption!

In June of 2008, Kristi Hofferber decided it was time to ask her adoptive parents about her birth parents. What she found out about her birth parents was the biggest shock of her life!

What she learned was that her birth mother was repeatedly molested by her father and as a result, became pregnant with Kristi. Another Brave 11-year-old Stands Up for the Life of Her Baby

Yet another courageous CHILD says NO to having her baby killed, despite being conceive via rape!

She’s an 11-year-old girl from a small, southern and rural Chilean town. And even at this tender age she has known inconceivable hurt and pain. For the better part of the last 18 months her mother’s live-in lover has raped her repeatedly, and then she conceived a child. Sadly, Belén became the tool-du-jour for those who advocate and promote abortion all over Latin America – a region rich with pro-life laws and sentiments which are anathema to regressive pro-abortionists. But then the most remarkable thing happened. This amazing girl went on national television and told her story. She assured everyone that she was aware of the circumstances that had led to her pregnancy, but stated she already loved her baby. Calmly, she told her audience that it was fear that had kept her from reporting the abuse – but that in spite of who the father was, she really wanted this child. Doctor Shares an Amazing Story!

This true story was told to me by my doctor today. So while it is certainly true, I do not know this woman personally. Nonetheless, it needs to be shared because many of us who value pre-born persons no matter how young they are, have heard similar personal reports directly or indirectly.

He told me of a woman whom he had treated who had a clear image in her mind. She said it was what she could only term an "out of body type" of experience. In this reoccurring memory she was in a dark and quiet place. She remembers someone piercing that comforting, warm, dark space with something and attacking a little boy who was sharing that space with her--close to her.

I haunted her for years and caused her problems.

She found out much later that her mother had been pregnant with twins but her doctor was concerned for the mom's health. He told her that she would need to abort one of her twins. Turns out she HAD REALLY experienced this and hadn't just remember it from a DREAM!

Her mother had aborted her twin brother while they were yet pre-born babies!

Neuroscientist will all say that every single thing we have ever experienced is somewhere in our memory. It's just that most of us cannot recall something that far back.

My age of my first memory amazed my mom because I was barely 18 months old--but it was a tramatic memory so it could be that a trauma like that impacts us so profoundly we that it can be recalled later in life!
